The Hidden Valley School Site Council (SSC) is a group of teachers, parents and classified employees, that works with the principal to develop, review and evaluate school improvement programs. The focus of the Council’s work is to continue to strengthen our academic and social/emotional programs so all children may achieve their fullest potential. The SSC is responsible for the understanding, development, and implementation of the Single Plan for Student Achievement. This plan is a record of the vision, goals, objectives, and strategies developed by our school community and should be understood by all stakeholders.
The SSC is composed of equal representation of two groups: parents/community members and school personnel. Peer groups select their members and each term of office is staggered in two-year terms to ensure continuity. All interested parents, elected to a position or not, are encourage to attend SSC meetings. We welcome your input and highly value your perspective and participation.
