As part of Student Services, the District offers mental health and social/emotional counseling services to students who qualify for these services. If you believe your student would benefit from such services, please contact your school principal.
In addition, California law permits educational counseling services to be provided for all students enrolled in the district. The services of counselors may include: academic counseling; parent involvement in the student's educational plans; helping students achieve minimum standards in reading, math and writing; and personal/social counseling. Confidentiality privileges and parent notices are provided in accordance with California law. (Education Code 49600)
