Dear White Hill Community,
Week 1 of testing is down with one week to go. Thanks for supporting us at home as we navigate the joys of testing 803 kids in English, Math and Science (8th graders only). Things went remarkably well thanks to our great staff and incredible support from our I.T. and district office staff – big thanks to Gabe, Sean, DC, Patrick, Julia, Ali, and Yvonne for helping things go so well. We also relied a great deal on Cary, Jennifer and Berenice in the office – what would we do without them?
Great job to our music ensembles who performed this week at White Hill. We also welcomed our 5th grade orchestra, band and choir kids to WH for the performances. I was preoccupied with my senior daughter’s HS events (how did the time go so fast?) but heard the performances were wonderful. Thanks to our kids and staff (d’Alessio, Martone, Smith, Santucci, Montgomery) for two great events.
David
State Testing Dates – May 22 to June 2nd
Please do your best to have your kids at school on time and well rested. We’d prefer that be the case every day but it’s especially important during these two weeks so we can start and end our testing on time. Testing is one measure of how our kids are progressing in school and our hope is they will relax, do their best, and just see it as a part of school. No pressure. No high stakes. Just a snapshot of how they are doing. Thank you for your support.
