Dear White Hill Community,
What another big week at White Hill. Our campus came alive on Wednesday with our annual 7th Grade Renaissance Day Festival. Big thanks to our teachers, staff, kids, and parents for making this event so special. The main quad was transformed into an amazing Market and the grassy quad was decorated so beautifully for our students' luncheon. Excellence across the board!
Thanks to all of our parents/families who helped make our staff appreciation week so wonderful. The box lunches were a big hit yesterday and so many of you were so generous - thank you! We all feel so lucky to work in this community.
Civil War Day is next week for our 8th Graders
The Festivals just keep coming!
Have a great weekend!

May 22 to June 2nd – Please do your best to have your kids at school on time and well rested. We’d prefer that be the case every day but it’s especially important during these two weeks so we can start and end our testing on time. Testing is one measure of how our kids are progressing in school and our hope is they will relax, do their best, and just see it as a part of school. No pressure. No high stakes. Just a snapshot of how they are doing. Thank you for your support.

Children for Change is hosting its 2nd annual C4C Challenge on Sunday, May 21 from 8am - 12pm. The C4C Challenge includes a beautiful hike up Bald Hill followed by a festive celebration complete with music and raffle. The Challenge will bring our Ross Valley community together behind a common cause - giving our kids the tools and opportunities with which they can DO GOOD!
All funds raised will go to Children for Change (www.children4change.org) and the non-profit organizations it supports such as Downtown Streets, St. Vinnies and Cedars of Marin. If you are looking for something FUN to do with your kids that feels purposeful, come climb with us on the morning of May 21st!
Have a busy weekend? Don’t fret! The climb only takes about an hour, so you’ll be done early enough to get onto the other 900 things you have going on! :-) Can’t make the Climb? You can also show your support by making a straight donation or by buying raffle tickets!
Visit www.children4change.org to register, donate or buy raffle tickets.
$20/ticket - includes t-shirt, raffle ticket and after-climb celebration!

Parent/Guardian Input forms for class placement decisions for the 2017-18 school year are available in our school office. They are due no later than next Friday, May 5th. You may use this opportunity to provide information about your child to help us make optimal and balanced placement decisions for next year. This is not a teacher or friend request, and please know that any forms including teacher names will be returned so a new one can be completed. We want your input for sure – please just avoid requesting specific teachers. Thank you.
