Dear White Hill Families,

We had a wonderful start to the new year here at White Hill with the kids quickly settling into their "old" routines. As expected, our new campus is just wonderful and we have all been grateful to see our much loved bungalows (portables) get taken away over the past two weeks. If you were unable to attend a tour over break - stay tuned for more!

Finally, the end of the 2nd quarter is tomorrow and we will be mailing out report cards next Friday. Please do not hesitate to contact your child's teachers with any concerns. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Ross Valley Emergency School Closure Hotline is 721-4751. As winter approaches, keep this number in your phone for updates in case our schools are closed due to power outages, flooding, etc.

White Hill Chorus Concert - January 16th - White Hill Gym

Lead by director Susie Martone, White Hill’s award winning Chorus will perform their Winter Concert on Thursday, January 16th from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at White Hill Middle School. This concert is free, and open to the public.

Support your school, bring your family and friends, and enjoy our 5th through 8th grade chorus students as they sing the season!

Wildcat Basketball

Our basketball season is off to a great start! Our 6 teams played competitively against Kent School, and face off with Miller Creek teams next week. All 6th grade games are on Tuesdays, 7th-grade games are on Wednesdays and 8th-grade games are held on Thursdays. For the month of January, boys’ games start at 3:45 and girls’ games are at 4:45. Miller Creek hosts games next week, but we will have HOME games the week of October 20th!! Watch this space for more basketball information, and go Wildcats!

The White Hill Golf team will start assessments in a few weeks – if you are interested, please let us know.

Lunch-Time and After-School Clubs Sign Up Day: Friday, January 24th

We will offer a Winter/Spring club session in early 2014, with many clubs continuing, plus some new ones! Cartooning, Mathletes, Ping Pong, Strategic Games, Sewing and many more!

The White Hill Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Committee will meet again in the White Hill Library on Thursday, January 23rd from 3:30 - 5 p.m. A committee has been formed to address this important issue but we welcome any and all input so please join us.
